The Westfield UTC Mall in San Diego is a great shopping destination
The address is 4545 La Jolla Village Drive, San Diego, CA 92122
Located in San Diego, Westfields UTC Mall is one of the most popular shopping malls. The property is conveniently located just east of La Jolla and UCSD in the University Town Center area of University City. Easily accessible from downtown San Diego via the 5 and 805 freeways, the next stop on UTC's trolley line will be here eventually.
It was renovated last year, and now it is a gorgeous open-air mall. During the renovations, the mall became a dining and entertainment venue. Featuring two water fountains, a cozy fire pit, and charming art installations from San Diego, the outdoor area is full of charm.
In December, UTC transforms into an ice skating rink, a Christmas tree village and a Santa's Village. Our Holiday Season Guide to San Diego Christmas Activities includes this activity.
AMC UTC 14 is also located at the mall, along with a play space for kids and a dog park. Featuring both independent and blockbuster films, the theater offers an upscale experience.
Besides designer and budget fashion brands, there are also tech stores, beauty shops, toys stores, and bookstores. As well as the anchor department stores Nordstrom and Macy's, over 100 boutiques are available here.
Restaurants at the UTC Mall are also highly regarded. A wide variety of international cuisines, premium steakhouses, and charming cafes are available here. Local restaurants like Great Maple, Queenstown Bistro, Eureka, and more have outposts here.
The mall's excellent assortment of bars offers specialty cocktails, wine, and beer. Raised By Wolves, a speakeasy with vintage cocktails as well as mixology classes, is a favourite.
